Daddy G (Massive Attack) a lasat de inteles ca ruptura dintre ei si fostul lor colaborator si prieten Tricky e pe cale sa dispara.
Tricky a aparut ca parte din Massive Attack pe primele 2 albume ale grupului, Blue Lines si Protection, inainte de a-si incepe cariera solo. In ultimul timp lucrurile nu au fost foarte clare intre cele doua parti, dar cu toate astea, Daddy G a declarat pentru 6Music ca lucrurile sunt pe cale sa se indrepte si chiar i-au propus lui Tricky sa apara pe ultimul lor album, Heligoland.
Daddy G: “I did actually ask Tricky to come on board for this album” he said, “and there’s talk about him maybe coming on the next album. Things seem like they’ve healed between us and Tricky. It’s been quite well documented how us and Tricky get on, hasn’t it? It’s not that well, but things have changed. Things have softened up. We saw Tricky a couple of weeks ago in Paris and it was quite an amicable meeting after five or six years”.
Heligoland va fi lansat pe 8 Februarie.
