Ca o scurta povestioara totusi, prima piesa a ei a fost lansata in 2002 de catre Black Hole Recordings (“Summer Calling“), piesa care a fost inclusa in ISOS. A urmat apoi Beautiful Things, devenind populara pentru remixul celor de la Gabriel & Dresden, ce a aparut in compilatia Nyana (tot a lui Tiesto).
Mavie Marcos a decis sa revina insa cu un album in 2011. Primul single este Promises, care tocmai a aparut.
We blended natural acoustic sounds throughout the album with electronic percussive ones. We made sure to keep our musical sound pallet, made up of our drum kits and analog synth sounds, consistent throughout. We thought this would result in the most compelling and intricate album for the listener – something that is meant to be listened to, in its entirety, as a cohesive piece of music – not just a string of singles.
